Project Description:
Mangia Technologies (pronounced “Mon-jah”) is currently seeking qualified individuals to assist in developing a cutting edge product using Flex, Java, MySQL and other technologies. In this position you will develop and maintain systems and work with other programmers on related projects.
Our philosophy is simple; we believe in hard work, a fun atmosphere, and the sort of creativity that only comes about when talented people from diverse backgrounds approach problems from varying perspectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must know Java, MySQL, HTML, XML and the Eclipse platform. Coding style should be clear, clean, readable, and easily maintained. Applicants must be open to learning new techniques and technologies. Candidates must live in or near Provo, Utah.
Other desirable, but not necessary skills:
-BS (or currently enrolled in program) in MIS, IT, CS, or other programming experience
-Flex/Actionscript
-Flash
-Javascript
-Knowledge of mobile technologies
-Knowledge of Mac development environment
-Linux
-Webserver knowledge (IIS, Tomcat, jboss)
-Wii Tennis or similar :-)
About Full-Time
We encourage any qualified person to apply. Our Full-Time position requires 35 to 40 hours per week. Competitive rates offered, and will vary depending on experience and time commitment. Recent graduates and others seeking potential for managerial positions within a development team are also encouraged to apply.
