Avantar's main products are the YellowPages and Showtimes applications available through iTunes app store, which collectively receive 5+ million searches monthly with a user base of over 4 million users across the country. Our servers are getting 6+ queries a second. This would be a wonderful opportunity for students to have a full or part time job opportunity in their field.

We have a current need for a student who has had at least some background in PHP, MySQL, XHTML, CSS, C and if possible Objective-C and server management. Any experience in Nagios, RRD, Cacti, and CentOS a plus. We prefer 300+ level students having completed CS 240 with a desire to learn the Facebook Development Platform api in addition to the iPhone, Android, and WebOS SDKs.
