We have an existing web-based software package written as CGI in Perl.

The program allows for an index of terms to be searched and linked to images. Imagine a card catalog where you search for a term and this program pulls up the correct box, which then allows you to shift through the images until you find the card for the term you were searching.

This code is outdated and slightly buggy. The successful applicant will provide a quote to update this software for a client, linking the images with terms, both of which will be provided by us. Images as jpgs and terms in an Excel Spreadsheet. We will provide two spreadsheets, one will be for a 'public' version of the software, the other for a private version, so two builds will need to be provided back. Our client will ultimately load what you return to us on their, so it will need to work right out of the box with a Linux/Apache setup with no configuration on their end.
