Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is used in a variety of applications such as terrain mapping, reconnaissance, and environmental monitoring. In SAR, an aircraft carries the radar which illuminates the area on the ground to be imaged. The reflected signal is received and digitized, then stored and processed to form a radar image of the ground. At ARTEMIS we are developing a production line of a variety of SAR systems, including the software to control the radar and to transfer, store, and process the data.

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team and help us develop high quality, intuitive software for our customers to control the radar systems and process the data. Skills in code management for multiple versions with multiple people programming are needed, and a desire to learn new things (like signal processing, embedded systems, and FPGA's) while working in a dynamic environment is a plus.
