About Tony Martinez
Tony Martinez recieved the B.S. in computer science at Brigham Young University in 1982 and the M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science at UCLA in 1983 and 1986, respectively. He is a professor of Computer Science at BYU and currently is chair of the Computer Science Department. He heads up the Neural Networks and Machine Learning Laboratory in the BYU PhD/MS program. He is associate editor of the Journal of Artificial Neural Networks.Research Interests
His main research interests are in neural networks, machine learning, connectionest systems, massively parallel algorithms and architectures, and non von Neumann computer methods.
