List of Available Scholarships

Scholarship applications for the 2017-2018 academic year are CLOSED.

Robert E. Nord Scholarship

For qualified students who intend to pursue a JD or MBA degree. Minimum GPA of 3.5 during two academic years preceding the award.

Elrod Leany Scholarship

For students who work in their department for a minimum of 10 hours per week and have a minimum 3.2 GPA.

Carl Joseph Christensen Scholarship

For juniors or seniors.  Scholastic standing is to be considered, however, there is no specified GPA requirement.

Nephi A. Christensen Endowed Scholarship

For students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.  

Doyle C. And Sandra J. Udy Endowed Scholarship

For students with at least a 3.0 GPA, committed to complete their education and abide by the honor code.

Grant A. Young Scholarship

For undergraduate students who are pursuing a degree in the biological or physical sciences at BYU and who have evidenced scholastic ability by maintain a GPA of 3.5.

Brian T. and Katherine Hill Scholarship

For Computer Science students with a 3.0 or above GPA in a Computer Science program at BYU.

National Instruments Computer Science Endowed Scholarship Fund

For selected junior or senior students who are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, who are enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours, who have maintained a GPA of 3.5. 

David C Meyers Endowed Scholarship Fund

For students pursuing a degree in the Computer Science Department.

B. John Garrick Foundation Scholarship

For undergraduate students who are pursuing a degree in the physical sciences with an emphasis on risk-informed studies relating to energy or the environment who have evidenced scholastic ability by maintaining a GPA of 3.5.

Jessie Allan Werner Scholarship

For students in the college with a 3.0 GPA. Preference is given to students whose course of study emphasizes the interface between bioscience and any area of the physical, mathematical, and/or computational sciences.

Ira & Betty Meyers Scholarship

For students who are married, have children, and are attending after 3 years or more away from school. Students must have maintained a GPA of 3.0.

Women in Computer Science Endowed Scholarship Fund

For selected students who are pursuing a degree in the Department of Computer Science and who have evidenced scholastic ability by maintaining a GPA of at least 3.5.

InsideSales.com scholarship for Computer Science

Those receiving the awards must be in good academic standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA.  Preference will be given to female students, those who have at least a 3.5 GPA, and applicants who are active in the BYU Women in Computer Science club. Applicant must be willing to consider an internship at InsideSales.com in 2017. Essays will be given to InsideSales.com for preliminary review. By selecting this scholarship, you acknowledge that your essay can be sent to them.

Tracie R Allred Endowed Scholarship

For female students majoring in computer science who are in their junior or senior year.

Questar Scholarship

For students pursuing a degree in geological sciences, geophysics, other physical science degrees, or business and business-related degrees such as finance or computer science. Students nominated for this award or his/her parents/family should have lived for at least 3 years in the service areas covered by Questar (may include school in Utah for 3 years). Service areas include: Utah, SE Idaho, SW Wyoming and W Colorado.

Ronald K Ririe scholarship

Undergrad student. GPA can be considered.
