Nancy Fulda received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Brigham Young University in 2019. Her research on machine learning and multi-agent systems has been published in the proceedings of the IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, the proceedings of the International Joint Conference on Information Sciences, and other refereed venues. Nancy has spent the last ten years in Europe, where she designed dynamic solar yield and feasibility simulation software in the field of renewable energy. Her work as a freelance programmer has included web development, CRM databases, automated PDF generation, and graphics manipulation.
As an advocate for increased scientific accuracy in fiction, Nancy has written commissioned work for Tor Books and MIT's Technology Review, as well a series of media tie-in stories set in the Dark Expanse video game universe.
