Software Development Engineer position for a Revolutionary Communications Company
 
AgilePQ brings a disruptive technology to the world of communications. Our patented use of Code Tables provides unparalleled data obfuscation, improves authentication and authorization methods, and increases ‘goodput’ by pulling data out of noise. Our primary target market where we bring significant differentiation is in IoT and IIoT – securing communication links from resource-constrained devices.
 
AgilePQ is seeking a skilled software engineer to help configure and implement our IoT solutions. This individual will work on a team developing solutions for the customer driven implementation requirements. This will include porting to new IoT Devices as well as integrating with existing and new IoT Platforms.
 
Software Engineering Skills:

  • Familiarity with Linux, public cloud (Google, IBM, MS Azure, AWS), with knowledge of IDE C, C++, OS understanding (threading, critical section), ISO communication model, BLE, Ziggbe, etc.
  • MEAN: Mongo, Express, Angular, Node; with knowledge of UI design
  • Knowledge of Kernel programming and driver development
  • Networking Communication in Linux (socket, Bluetooth, BLE)
  • Configuration of routers and switches

 
Experience:

  • Protocol development and implementation
  • Securing system and network technologies
  • Experience with techniques to effectively integrate with third party systems

 
 
General Skills:

  • Practical knowledge of creating an effective level of requirements specifications for new features and enhancements
  • Working knowledge of Agile development, scrums, sprints, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills with team-mates and the ability to collaboratively work on projects

 

 
Additional skills as a plus:

  • Familiarity with various aspects and components of information security such as encryption methods/standards, real-time intruder detection, perimeter security, event correlation, authentication services, vulnerability analysis, and incident handling and forensics
  • Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure
  • Knowledge of data communication security, common attack methodologies, common types of security vulnerabilities
  • Working knowledge of QA process design, testing and related automation tools

 
 
Education Qualifications and Experience

  • BS/BA in computer science or related major.  Graduate degree in this field is a plus.
  • 0 - 3 years of professional experience in related development
