Job Description: 

Strive is a nonprofit that shares stories of people who are affected by mental illness in a collective effort to eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness.  We are seeking mobile application developers to join our Utah team. This position will be responsible for developing mobile apps for iOS.  Remote working will be considered. In this role, you will be charged with developing quality code with high velocity, testing, deploying, and supporting mobile apps development.

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or have completed a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in CS
  • Experience with software development using an Object Oriented language
  • Ability to write clean, well factored code
  • iOS software development experience with Objective C, Cocoa Touch and Swift
  • Proficiency in XCode, Interface Builder and Instrument
  • Published at least one app on the Apple App Store
  • Experience with HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3, including AngularJS
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and reliable with a positive attitude and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, a professional attitude, and a desire to excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to write clean, well factored code
  • Passion for quality with great attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of test driven development
  • Experience working with remote team members
