Software Configuration Administrator
Job Description:
Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL), Command, Control, Communication, Computers, Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Division, Deployed Sustainable Programs (DSP) Branch is seeking candidates for a Configuration Administrator position. The selected individual will work directly with program management, software engineers, software testers and technical writers to ensure the successful program execution for a Department of Defense (DoD) customer. 
This includes but not limited to assuming responsibility for the configuration control of hardware/software baselines, briefing during configuration review board, keeping accurate inventory of hardware, ensuring configuration management process compliance and provide supported documentation. It is critical to be able to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment, be self-motivated, reliable and have the ability to initiate tasks independently.
-BS in Information systems, Computer Science or equivalent technical field of study
-Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a U.S government security clearance
-Articulate in both verbally and writing communication
-Familiarity with product life cycle and configuration management tools and software
-Ability to interface with internal and external customers
-Ability to manage multiple tasks
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Key Duties:
-Develops and maintains system configuration management processes in support of customer's requirements
-Controls software baselines for external software tools, both Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS)
-Identifies, controls, and reports on the delivery of hardware systems and associated software load by client and location
-Responds to and resolves issues with configuration management
