AUGUST GRADUATION!!!

The University Commencement Exercises will take place Thursday, 11 August 2005 at 4 p.m. in the Marriott Center. Graduates will line-up in the parking lot north of the ASB at 3:15 p.m. University Graduation Schedule

Aurel Cornell to retire in August 2005

Professor Cornell is scheduled to retire August 2005 after almost 25 years of service and contributions to BYU's Computer Science Department. Come by and see him and wish him well before he leaves. To read more about his work and journey to the US and his future plans click here.

Two CS Students Receive National Awards

Morgan Quigley and Moriah McClanahan are the recent recipients of two different national awards.

ATTENTION ALL CS ALUMNI, FACULTY, and GRADUATE STUDENTS

YOU'RE INVITED to the ANNUAL GOLF & GRUB EVENT on THURSDAY, JULY 7, 2005.

For those golfing enthusiasts, come to the CS Department office to sign-up your teams (3361 TMCB). The green fee is $11 for walkers & $17 for riders. The game begins at 1pm at Cascade Golf Course.

NSF Graduate Research Fellowship awarded to CS Student

In addition to Morgan Quigley and Moriah McClanahan, who were recently featured on the website, another CS student has received a prestigious national award.
