Job Description: 

Ruby on Rails Programmer continues to build a rapidly growing real estate management network and applications platform, and is looking for a Ruby developer to join the team.

Looking for someone who has coding skills, creativity, reliability, the ability to keep deadlines, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to share their opinions. You will be assisting in maintaining the application as well as expanding it with new features and projects.

With only a small, tight-knight team, we’ve managed to build a website that is gaining national attention, and we’re hoping to expand that group to help us execute on our growth goals. Your duties will be to develop, design, test and deploy new features for the website (both front and back end)
You will need to be well versed in the technologies that comprise the environment hosting the app (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Memcached, Phusion Passenger / mod_rails).
Familiarity with Git, GitHub,
You will need to be able to work on any side of the application, including UI


2+ years Ruby on Rails development experience and the ability to quickly jump into a project and begin executing.

Required skills:

Experience using Rails, writing tests and generally maintaining testing and production environments
Experience in managing servers and handling scalability
Experience with scripting
Understanding of web based protocols such as HTTP, SSL, SSH, SFTP
Strong database skills
