Campus Resources

Whatever you’re facing, help is available. These campus resources are here to support students, faculty, and staff — and reaching out is always welcome.

BYU Comprehensive Clinic
The BYU Comprehensive Clinic offers therapy provided by graduate students under the supervision of licensed therapists. It is free for BYU students and can accommodate longer-term care than CAPS.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
CAPS provides wellness programming and mental health treatment aimed at promoting positive mental health on campus. Its licensed clinicians and graduate-level trainees are trained specifically to help students.

First-Generation Students
This resource gathers, in one place, the support that first-generation college students find most helpful.

Food and Housing Insecurity
Many resources, both on and off campus, are available to students facing food or housing insecurity. Students experiencing these challenges may contact the Dean of Students Office and their local Bishop to learn about available resources.

International Student and Scholar Services
BYU International Student and Scholar Services provides personal, cultural, and academic advisement while assisting international students and scholars with regulatory support, so they may have an enriching and successful BYU experience.

Multicultural Student Services
Multicultural Student Services is a team of specialists devoted to the total development of multicultural students within the Aims of a BYU Education. They work to build a BYU environment of “fellow citizenry” where multiculturalism can flourish.

Office of Belonging
The Office of Belonging is dedicated to helping BYU achieve a community of belonging and to supporting every member of the campus community.

Reconciling Faith and Sexuality (CAPS Group)
This confidential psychotherapy group offers a space for students who identify as LGBTQ+ or who experience same-sex attraction to explore their sexuality and how it intersects with their faith. Grounded in respect for agency and self-determination, the group supports students as they thoughtfully explore their identities, support one another, and work toward psychological health.

University Chaplain
The University Chaplain offers support, a listening ear, and spiritual care to students of all faiths and backgrounds — a welcoming resource for anyone seeking guidance or connection.

Women’s Services and Resources
The Women’s Services and Resources office provides workshops, consultations, support groups, and other services for students, staff, and faculty to address women’s issues in a positive, proactive way.
