Department Scholarships
We will begin accepting applications for undergraduate scholarships on January 1, 2027 for the Fall 2027 and Winter 2028 semesters.
The deadline is March 15, 2027.
All applicants will be notified of scholarship decisions by August 1, 2027.
Who can apply?
- Any admitted student who has declared a Computer Science major or minor*
- Current students
- New freshmen
- International students (even if they have not yet completed the FAFSA)
*Note that students who already receive full-tuition university or college scholarships are not eligible for CS department scholarships.
Computer Science scholarships are generally partial-tuition scholarships.

To apply for a scholarship, log in to the Computer Science Dashboard with your BYU account. Once logged in, scroll down and click on Scholarships. Then click on Apply For Scholarship.
