Biography

Daniel Zappala received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1990 and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from USC in 1997. He was a professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Oregon from 1997 through 2004, before joining the Computer Science Department at Brigham Young University. Dr. Zappala is the director of the Usable Security and Privacy Lab, where his research focuses on helping people protect their security and privacy online.
