Scott T. Toborg, Ph.D., is a seasoned leader in data science, analytics, and technology, with extensive experience across academia and industry. He is a Visiting Associate Professor at Brigham Young University, teaching data science and AI engineering courses. Previously, he held executive roles, including Vice President of Data Science and Analytics at Nu Skin International and Head of Data Science Products at Teradata, driving AI/ML initiatives and managing large-scale data platforms. His career spans diverse industries, from telecommunications to e-commerce, with expertise in machine learning, cloud platforms, and business strategy development. Dr. Toborg holds a B.S. in Applied Physics, an M.S. in Computer Science from BYU, and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California, where he did research into massively parallel hardware architectures for neural networks.
