Biography

Profession
Founder of LifeLink Corporation. In 1978 he founded LifeLink Corporation to provide advanced sales life insurance proposal systems to financial professionals. He sold the company in 2004. He is an active investor/mentor for startups and has made over 50 startup investments.

Volunteer Service

Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Rollins Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology of the Marriott School at Brigham Young University. Has taught in The Willes Center for International Entrepreneurship at BYU-Hawaii. Served as LDS Mission President in Porto Alegre, Brazil from 2003-2006. Served as LDS Regional Public Affairs Director and member of the Park City Interfaith Council.

Hobbies and Interests

His interests include running, biking, triathlon, basketball, skiing, backpacking, and mountain climbing. He has summited three of the Seven Summits: Aconcagua (1996), Elbrus (2000), and Kilimanjaro (2000). He has also done three climbs on Denali and climbed the Grand Teton and Devils Tower.

Family    

He and his wife, Colleen, have four children - all are BYU graduates, three have served LDS missions - and eighteen grandchildren. They have lived in Riverside, CA, Newbury Park, CA, and Park City, UT.
